AIRPORT VIENNA-SCHWECHAT (VIE)

Some lines in the center, but especially the mountainous areas of the city, are electrified and trolley buses run there. They have a long tradition in Bratislava and have been riding here for over 100 years. Timetables, road planners, maps and route routes can be found at imhd.sk.
Cruise ships operate on the Danube in Bratislava from April to October. They leave the passenger port on the Danube embankment (2 DB 31). Transport by car is more demanding from year to year. Although many new buildings, highways and bridges have been added, many cars have been added. The worst situation is between 8.00-9.00 and 16.30-17.30. The speed limit in the city is 50 km / h, unless otherwise specified.

If you are invited to a visit, don’t be shocked that you will be expected to challenge you. Somewhere you even offer slippers. Although Slovaks are a small nation, they are proud of their identity and language.
